When we found the home we loved we gave James a very tight time schedule to work with. He not only met our timeframe, but did so with excellence and a smile. This was my first time buying a home and I couldn't have asked for someone better than James to help me through the process. I have worked with James Rhodes for my mortgages on my first house and my second, and when the time comes, I will again work with James on the third. I know I do not need to shop around for rates, because James' integrity won't let him offer me anything less than the best available. I recall my initial contact with James to inquire about obtaining a mortgage pre-approval; it was on the Saturday of the Labor Day holiday weekend. James called me that afternoon in between his family holiday activities to touch base. And then he formulated various document estimates for me and emailed them to me on Labor Day. I admit, I was hesitant to go outside the traditional credit union or banking system but, James assured me he'd walk me through the process of obtaining a mortgage for my cross-country move and, he was! "James helped us to refinance our house twice. We approached him the first time for help when interest rates were significantly below what we had originally bought the house for. Like millions of others, we know we are under water on our home loan - we purchased at the top of the bubble at the end of 2005. When he helped us with the first refinance, he found a program that would not involve an appraisal. After that, interest rates dropped again, and we contacted him - but James counseled us to wait until the rates had dropped even further before refinancing again. When the time was right, James called us and set up the second refinance.He accommodated our wishes to go with a different title company, a shorter payoff (15 instead of 30 years) and he attended the final meeting to make sure the signing went well. James keeps his customers' interests in mind."
