We tried to get a VA mortgage but were told by our bank we were ineligible for any government home financing due to a short sale in our past. We could get private financing but at a high interest rate and with a large down payment. Our realtor contacted Laurie Phillips to see if she could help. Laurie immediately contacted us and asked us about our situation. She said she would like to try to get VA financing for us and asked us to apply for a VA loan. She asked us to provide some additional information concerning the circumstances of our short sale. She then went to the VA with our situation and got our application approved. She kept us informed every step of the way and answered our questions promptly and professionally. She worked very well with our realtor to set up the closing, which was a smooth and efficient transaction. It is no exaggeration to say that we would not be homeowners without Laurie's help. She was able to get us VA financing, with very good terms, when others could not.

I had an FHA loan and had a hardship which did substantial damage to my credit. I was afraid to sell my house because I didn't think I would be able to get a conventional non-FHA loan, Laurie worked with me from pre-application and gave advice on how to take steps to repair my credit and get to a comfortable spot and now I have the perfect house with a loan I feel I actually had control over. I find it hard to believe anyone else would have given me the time and attention Laurie gave in helping me full approval on an FNMA conventional and the most important part, I closed on my original house and then four days later was able to close on my new house thanks to Laurie and her team. Thanks Laurie and all the behind-the-scenes helpers, you are all my heroes.

We recently purchased our home and Laurie was absolutely amazing during our entire experience. She is extremely detailed, communicates excellent and is on top of everything!
